Job summary

Kennis Transport & Logistics BV is seeking a client-facing Commercial Account Manager to own and grow relationships across warehousing, fulfillment, and freight forwarding. You will be the day-to-day contact for existing accounts, qualify inbound leads, and help shape pricing between service lines.

Based in the Netherlands with on-site/hybrid flexibility, you will manage pricing, SLA performance, and quarterly business reviews, coordinating with warehouse and freight teams to protect margins

Qualifications

• 3+ years account management experience in logistics, 3PL, or freight forwarding.
• Lead qualification experience — assess prospect fit for capacity and capabilities.
• Pricing/quoting experience — build rate cards and negotiate terms with clients.
• Able to read SLA reports, chargeback logs, and volume trends.
• Dutch and English fluency; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Qualify inbound and prospective leads to determine fit for KTL's services.
• Own a portfolio of client accounts end-to-end including terms and satisfaction.
• Build and own pricing for accounts and set rates for new service lines.
• Coordinate with warehouse/fulfillment and freight teams to resolve issues.
• Track performance against KPIs and report proactively to clients.
• Identify upsell opportunities and price them to protect margins.
• Lead quarterly business reviews with clients and present data.
• Feed client forecasts into ops/planning to scale capacity and pricing.
