The College Hotel, Autograph Collection by Marriott in Amsterdam, seeks a passionate Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in The Dean Restaurant and Bar & Bistro. This role offers an exciting path in an iconic Marriott-branded hotel within the Corendon group, focusing on culinary excellence and student mentorship.

You will guide a kitchen team, maintain HACCP compliance, develop seasonal menus, and collaborate with other departments to ensure outstanding guest experiences while delivering

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Sous Chef as a baseline requirement.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to guide and inspire a kitchen team.
• Creativity in developing menus and dishes for a brasserie setting.
• Strong organizational skills for smooth kitchen operations and stock control.
• Solid knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP).
• Budget management abilities to monitor costs and waste.
• Excellent communication with team and guests.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Genuine passion for cooking and hospitality.

Responsibilities
