Job summary

Swapfiets is seeking a flexible Service & Store Associate in Utrecht to deliver top-notch bike service and customer support in-store and on the go. You will help new subscribers get set up, troubleshoot member issues, and drive sales by recommending suitable products.

The role involves bike maintenance tasks, store upkeep, and occasional city travel by car. You should have a driver's license, be available on Saturdays, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Occasional Saturday availability.
• Fluent in English or able to communicate.
• Affinity with bikes and service mindset.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Work in the store and deliver outstanding Swapfiets service to members.

Do you know the city like the back of your hand? Are you a multi-tasker who can be friendly to a customer while driving through the city in our Swapcar? Are you looking for a cool, flexible job at a fast-growing scale-up? Do you enjoy playing the host?

How you pedal us forward!

• Work in the store and deliver outstanding Swapfiets service to members;
• You're the first point of contact for (potential) members, helping them set up a new subscription or providing support with any issues they might have;
• Providing sales through service and identifying what product(s) would best fit the member, to contribute to our commercial targets;
• You keep the shop clean, tidy and organized;
• You will drive around the city by car to help our members;
• Perform small bike repairs and preventive maintenance on our Swapfiets bikes on site and in the store, so our members can happily keep biking;
• Swap out bikes, if they can't be repaired on the spot, and drive them to our Store/Warehouse;

The gear you need!

• In possession of a driver's license (for a minimum period of 6 months);
• Occasional availability on Saturdays;
• Understand and speak English;
• Affinity with bikes and service;
• Whether working independently or as part of a team, you always work successfully!;
