Job summary

Swapfiets, Delft (Den Hoorn Warehouse), is seeking a Logistics Lead to oversee the logistics operation for (E-)Bikes, manage deliveries between the warehouse and stores, and ensure safety and top quality as part of a fast-growing European team.

You will handle inbound/outbound shipments, unpack/clean bikes, manage spare parts, and keep the fleet organized. English or Dutch language skills and a B driving license are required; you thrive in independent or team settings.

Qualifications

• Elementary knowledge about e-bikes and pedal bikes.
• Affinity with cycling, mobility, sustainability and service.
• Understand and speak English and/or Dutch.
• Must have a motor driving license category B.
• Works well independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage logistics and deliveries of (E-)Bikes between the warehouse and store locations according to HQ planning.
• Oversee inbound and outbound deliveries, including loading/unloading of (E-)Bikes from trucks with documentation and waste disposal.
• Unpacking, cleaning and making the inventory (E-)Bikes Ready-to-Go.
• Preparation of spare parts including unpacking/checking deliveries and stocking for stores and fleet.
• Keep the vehicle representative tools collapsed? and ensure truck cleanliness and readiness.
• Assists with warehouse upkeep, cleaning, handling, storing and organization tasks.
• Management keys, including ordering and organizing spare keys + battery management.
• Organizing broken inflow and pre-organizing B(E-)Bikes for mechanics and handling special cases.
• Responsible for waste management.

How you pedal us forward!

• Manage the logistics and deliveries of the (E-)Bikes between the warehouse and the store locations based on the planning of the Logistics Department at HQ.
• Oversee inbound and outbound deliveries, including loading and unloading of (E-)Bikes from trucks (incl. proper documentation and waste disposal);
• Unpacking, cleaning and making the inventory (E-)Bikes Ready-to-Go;
• Preparation of spare parts including unpacking/checking parts deliveries, and taking care of spare parts for retail stores and fleet.
• Keep the vehicle representative (holding tools complete, cleaning and washing the truck)
• Helps with up-keeping, cleaning, handling, storing and organization tasks within Warehouse;
• Management keys, including ordering and organizing spare keys + battery management
• Organizing broken inflow and pre-organizing B(E-)Bikes for mechanics and take care of special cases (status (HOK)/location (HOK)/without key/etc.);
• Responsible for waste management.

The gear you need!

• You have an affinity with cycling, mobility, sustainability and service;
• Understand and speak English and/or Dutch;
• Must have a motor driving license category B
