Job summary

Swapfiets is seeking a Logistics Operator to ensure the efficient delivery and readiness of (E-)Bikes between the warehouse and store locations. You will manage inbound and outbound shipments, handle documentation, and oversee spare parts for the fleet.

You will contribute to a sustainable future by maintaining safety and cleanliness, and by supporting the logistics department with timely deliveries across Europe. English and/or Dutch proficiency is required, with a B driving license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of e-bikes and pedal bikes.
• Affinity with cycling, mobility, sustainability and service.
• Ability to understand and speak English and/or Dutch.
• Must have a motor driving license category B.
• Works well independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage logistics and deliveries of (E-)Bikes between warehouse and store locations per HQ planning.
• Oversee inbound/outbound deliveries, including loading/unloading with proper documentation and waste disposal.
• Unpacking, cleaning and preparing inventory of (E-)Bikes for Ready-to-Go.
• Prepare spare parts and manage spare parts for stores and fleet.
• Keep vehicle equipment clean and organized; handle tools.
• Support warehouse upkeep, cleaning, handling and organization tasks.
• Manage keys, order/delete spare keys and battery management.
• Organize inflow/outflow faults and pre-organize bikes for mechanics; handle special cases.
• Responsible for waste management.

As a logistics operator, you are an essential part of Swapfiets's logistics operation. How you pedal us forward!

• Manage the logistics and deliveries of the (E-)Bikes between the warehouse and the store locations based on the planning of the Logistics Department at HQ.
• Oversee inbound and outbound deliveries, including loading and unloading of (E-)Bikes from trucks (incl. proper documentation and waste disposal).
• Unpacking, cleaning and making the inventory (E-)Bikes Ready-to-Go.
• Preparation of spare parts including unpacking/checking parts deliveries, and taking care of spare parts for retail stores and fleet.
• Keep the vehicle representative (holding tools complete, cleaning and washing the truck).
• Helps with up-keeping, cleaning, handling, storing and organization tasks within Warehouse.
• Management keys, including ordering and organizing spare keys + battery management.
• Organizing broken inflow and pre-organizing B(E-)Bikes for mechanics and take care of special cases (status (HOK)/location (HOK)/without key/etc.).
• Responsible for waste management.

The gear you need!

• You have elementary knowledge about e-bikes and pedal bikes (cars or anything related can also be of help).
• You have an affinity with cycling, mobility, sustainability and service.
• Understand and speak English and/or Dutch.
• Must have a motor driving license category B.
• Whether working independently or as part of a team, you always work successfully!
