Job summary

Swapfiets in Amsterdam is seeking a bike mechanic who will repair our original and e-bikes without supervision. You are the expert in making sure our bikes are roadworthy and safe, and you will help deliver the Swapfiets quality day in, day out.

You will repair E-Bikes and pedal bikes, ensure data in the repair database is up to date, and learn to work safely. The role offers 40 hours per week, a supportive team, and a dynamic, purpose-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of e-bikes and pedal bikes.
• Available for 40 hours per week.
• Fluent in English or Dutch.
• Affinity with cycling, mobility and sustainability.
• Safety-minded and able to work without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Repair e-bikes and pedal bikes without supervision.
• Ensure bikes are roadworthy and safe.
• Capture and update repair data in the repair database.
• Adhere to safety practices and learn proper safety procedures.

As abike mechanic at Swapfiets you are an essential part of the growth and continuity of Swapfiets. In this role you will repair all of our original and e-bikes without supervision. You are the expert in making sure our bikes are roadworthy and safe. Besides that, you will also make sure we deliver the Swapfiets quality day in, day out.

How you pedal us forward!

You will be responsible for repairing our pedal bikes and our E-bikes with no supervision needed;

You will repair E-Bikes and pedal bikes and make them roadworthy;

You will ensure the Bikes' product and repair data is properly captured and up to date in repair database;

We will make sure that you learn how to work in a safe way (safety is everyone's responsibility).

The gear you need!

You have knowledge about e-bikes and pedal bikes (cars or anything related can also be of help)

You are available for 40hours/week

You have an affinity with cycling, mobility, sustainability and service;

You understand and speak English and/or Dutch
