Job summary

Sia in Amsterdam is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design and deliver GenAI applications that move from prototype to production, with measurable ROI for clients. You will work at the intersection of Data Science, ML/Platform Engineering, and client delivery, building robust, scalable AI solutions and ensuring adoption across client teams.

Requirements include 2+ years of hands-on LLM experience, Python proficiency, and the ability to communicate across technical and leadership teams.

Qualifications

Grounding in computer science, AI, or related technical field.
2+ years of professional experience with LLMs and AI projects.
Hands-on experience building with LLMs: prompting, RAG, fine-tuning, orchestration.
Proficiency in Python and ability to adapt to client tech stacks.
Able to communicate with engineers and business stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

Sit with a client team to identify AI value areas and define deliverables.
Design and implement LLM-based systems: autonomous agents, RAG pipelines, workflows, and interfaces.
Integrate solutions into client environments (APIs, databases, tools) while complying with regulations.
Train users and drive adoption to ensure real-world value.
Iterate with stakeholders to productionize solutions and maximize impact.
Bridge communication between engineers and executives to align technical and business goals.
