Job summary

Sia is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to bring GenAI applications into production and daily use. You’ll work at the intersection of Data Science, ML/Platform Engineering, and client delivery, designing and deploying scalable AI solutions and ensuring measurable ROI for clients.

You’ll collaborate with partners like Anthropic, OpenAI, Databricks, and AWS, and work on RAG pipelines, agents, and tool-using interfaces. Hybrid work from Amsterdam is offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, AI, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience; recent grads encouraged.
• Experience with LLMs through projects, internships, or academic work.
• Proficient in Python, able to read and write clean code.
• Able to call APIs and integrate systems.
• Dutch and English language proficiency; German is a plus.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI SDK, or Anthropic SDK.
• Cloud deployment experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Understanding of MLOps/LLMOps basics and embeddings/vector databases.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on client sites with a senior engineer to learn workflows.
• Scope and build LLM-based solutions: RAG pipelines, agents, automation.
• Connect solutions to APIs, databases, and business tools.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and AI regulations.
• Prepare docs, support training, collect feedback for improvements.
• Measure performance and report progress to stakeholders.
• Communicate progress clearly to technical and business audiences.
