Job summary

Sia Partners in Amsterdam is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to extend GenAI capabilities on client projects. You will design and build LLM-powered solutions, integrate with data sources, and help teams adopt AI in daily workflows.

You will work closely with data scientists and engineers, use frameworks like LangChain and vector databases, deploy to cloud environments, and contribute to responsible AI practices while growing toward client-facing architecture roles.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS, AI, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience, including internships or academia.
• Proven experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in Python; willingness to learn client stacks.
• Strong communication and ability to explain complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• Dutch and English fluency; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on client sites to learn workflows.
• Scope and build LLM-based solutions under guidance.
• Connect solutions to APIs, databases, and tools.
• Ensure data protection and AI regulation compliance.
• Support user adoption through documentation and training.
• Measure performance and propose improvements.
• Communicate progress to technical and business teams.
