Job summary

Sia is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to design and deploy GenAI solutions across client environments. You will work at the intersection of data science, ML engineering and client delivery, crafting robust, scalable AI products and guiding adoption with stakeholders.

Role requires hands-on LLM experience, Python fluency, and strong communication. Hybrid work from Amsterdam—onus on delivering measurable ROI in production. Fluent Dutch/English is required.

Qualifications

• Have a grounding in computer science, AI, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in AI/ML or related field.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs (prompting, RAG, fine-tuning, agent orchestration, evaluation).
• Proficient in Python; able to adapt to client stacks.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French or German is a nice advantage.

Responsibilities

• Sit with a client's team, work out where AI earns its keep and turn that into something you can ship.
• Design and implement LLM-based systems: autonomous agents, RAG pipelines, workflow automation, and conversational interfaces.
• Integrate these solutions into clients’ environments (APIs, databases, business tools), complying with regulations (GDPR, EU AI Act).
• Get people to actually use what you built: training, winning sceptics over, and iterating until it sticks.
• Iterate quickly with stakeholders to refine solutions in production and maximize impact.
• Be the bridge between engineers and the board, delivering clear value.
