Job summary

Airwallex is seeking an experienced (Senior) Counsel to support our fast growing commercial legal team across EMEA. You will support a complex set of fintech products and advise on enterprise commercial matters for Airwallex's sales teams across multiple jurisdictions, with emphasis on NL, DE, IL, and UK.

This position is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and offers a strategic advisory role influencing go-to-market strategies, risk management, and scalable contract templates to enable rapid

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of legal experience, private practice at a top law firm preferred.
• In-house fintech experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, drafting, negotiation and writing skills.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal teams and manage multiple deals.
• High motivation, independent work style, and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive complex enterprise commercial deals across EMEA with emphasis on NL, UK and IL.
• Develop scalable templates, playbooks and processes for efficient legal support.
• Act as a strategic partner to the Commercial leadership and scale go-to-market efforts.
• Leverage data and technology to increase efficiency of the Commercial Legal function.
• Collaborate with Airwallex's global legal, compliance and risk teams across jurisdictions.
• Contribute to culture and positive team dynamics within the legal group.
