Job summary

Airwallex is hiring a Staff Solutions Engineer for Embedded Finance in Amsterdam. You will own technical pre-sales and implementation for complex enterprise engagements, turning business requirements into actionable designs.

You’ll orchestrate cross-functional teams and drive API integrations and third-party connectors, ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality outcomes. You will work with sales and product teams across EMEA, providing technical trust from pre-sale through go-live.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of technical pre-sales experience in complex implementations.
8+ years of client-facing delivery or professional services in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted technical advisor for high-value implementations and expansions, shaping integration approaches and overall design.
Partner with implementation and account teams to translate customer requirements into scalable architectures.
Collaborate with sales on technical discovery to understand systems, data flows, and workflows and propose an integration blueprint.
Work hands-on with customers to troubleshoot integration hurdles and guide complex configuration decisions (designing robust implementations).
Create and maintain internal docs, playbooks, and lightweight tooling to support integration-heavy use cases at scale.
Channel customer feedback into Product and Engineering to influence roadmap and feature prioritisation.
