Job summary

AtS[&]T in Delft seeks a Senior Flight Software Engineer to design, develop and verify on-board software for advanced satellite systems. You will work across interfaces between software, systems, and hardware, owning code from architecture through integration and test, with emphasis on reliability and performance under tight hardware constraints.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in embedded/low-level software development.
Experience with real-time applications (Linux/RTOS).
Background in spacecraft flight software or other highly reliable vehicle software.

Responsibilities

Develop code that integrates complex interfaces and routes data between systems.
Design software architecture optimized for hardware constraints.
Support systems engineering with requirement generation and flow-down.
Create unit tests and perform system-level testing; assist hardware-in-the-loop verification.
Write clean, maintainable code and produce documentation for design reviews and audits.
Collaborate with electrical, mechanical and systems engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
