Axient Systems B.V. in Delft seeks a Senior Flight Software Engineer to design, develop, and verify on-board software for the PAMI-1 satellite, routing and processing data within tight hardware constraints and orbital reliability.

You will work at the interface between software, systems and hardware, owning code from architecture through integration and test, reporting to the Lead Software Engineer. The role requires 10+ years in embedded software, proficiency in C/C++, Python, real-time

Qualifications

• 10+ years in embedded software development.
• Experience with real-time or near-real-time systems and protocols.
• Background in spacecraft or high-reliability vehicle software.

Responsibilities

• Code and integrate interfaces to route data between systems.
• Design software architecture for performance within hardware limits.
• Support systems engineering with requirements flow-down.
• Create unit tests and support hardware-in-the-loop verification.
• Document design reviews and system audits clearly.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical and systems teams.
