Job summary

AtS[&]T in Delft is seeking a Junior/Medior Flight (Embedded) Software Engineer to join the Space Systems team. You will develop and verify on-board software for data routing and processing on satellites, working closely with hardware, systems, and other engineering teams.

The role emphasizes reliability under tight hardware constraints, with on-site presence in Delft and limited remote work. You will grow into a responsible position while delivering high-integrity software from day one.

Qualifications

2+ years embedded/low level software development experience or strong project internship record.
Experience with real-time apps, Linux and RTOS.
Educational background in Electrical Engineering, CS, Embedded Systems or related field.
Proficiency in C, C++, Python; experience with Rust.
Experience with CI/CD workflows, Git, and networking (UART/Ethernet).

Responsibilities

Develop and verify on-board flight software routing and processing data on satellites.
Contribute to software architecture under guidance of senior engineers.
Create unit tests and support hardware-in-the-loop verification.
Write clean, maintainable code and produce design-review documentation.
Collaborate with electrical, mechanical and systems teams for integrated solutions.
