Altura is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own the architecture and scalability of our tender-spots platform and data ingestion. You’ll shape the integration strategy and drive end-to-end delivery with agentic software development practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive backend experience with .NET and C#.
• Experience building web scrapers and third-party integrations.
• Cloud-native apps (Azure) with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD.
• Agentic software development and avoiding vibe coding.
• Strong DB skills (SQL; NoSQL is a plus).
• Commitment to quality, scalability and security.
• Experience with Domain Driven Design and Clean Architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integrations with third-party platforms and data sources.
• Drive architectural and system design decisions.
• Develop backend services and APIs for scalable, reliable systems.
• Optimize performance and ensure reliability at scale.
• Evolve CI/CD, observability, security best practices.
• Evaluate new technologies to stay at the cutting edge.
