Job summary

Hellmann is seeking a SF Pricing & Tender Mgmt Specialist in the Rotterdam area to drive pricing quality, tender management, and customer onboarding. You will work with sales and operations to align pricing with market needs and profitability, leveraging your network and industry insight.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, a client-centric mindset, and the ability to spot opportunities while maintaining transparent pricing and strong stakeholder relations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Sea Freight Forwarding.
• Strong network within the Port of Rotterdam.
• Team player with commercial flair and initiative.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs.
• Support proposals by analyzing customer needs and insights to strengthen our market position.
• Coordinate with operational departments for smooth handling of business.
• Ensure correct and transparent pricing for customers and partners.
• Contribute to the Benelux pricing strategy and internal systems use.
• Onboard new customers for smooth integration and high satisfaction.
• Ensure agreements are executed correctly, focusing on quality, pricing, reporting and customer satisfaction.
• Support Customer Success by following customer needs and improving volumes and results.
• Network with customers and carriers to strengthen relationships.

The SF Pricing & Tender Mgmt Specialist

The SF Pricing & Tender Mgmt Specialist is dedicated to providing expertise, supporting the organisation's objectives through the application of specialised knowledge and skills. This role focuses on delivering high quality results in Pricing & Tender Management expertise and contributing to strategic initiatives.

About the Job

• In this position you work closely with the sales team to understand our customers needs.
• You support the sales department by analyzing customer needs, contributing to proposals, and gathering insights to strengthen our market position.
• You hold close contact with our operational departments to ensure smooth handling of our business.
• Our customers can always count on you when it comes to correct and transparent pricing.
• You always ensure the best solution for all parties.
• You contribute to the Benelux pricing strategy and ensure the correct use of our internal systems while helping optimize profitability.
• You guide new customers through a complete onboarding process, ensuring smooth integration and high customer satisfaction.
• You ensure that all agreements are executed correctly, focusing on quality, pricing, reporting, and customer satisfaction.
• You support the Customer Success process by closely following customer needs and contributing to improved volumes and results.
• Networking is great part of this position. Customers and carriers know where to find you.

About You

• You have extensive experience in Sea Freight Forwarding (at least 5 years), preferably in a similar role.
• You have a strong network within the Port of Rotterdam and are familiar with the various stakeholders.
• You are a team player and driven to support other teams with the goal to collectively achieve customer satisfaction.
• You naturally possess commercial flair and are able to spot new opportunities like no other.
• You are entrepreneurial, ambitious, and able to plan and manage your work independently.
• You are fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
