Job summary

Nordic Jobs Worldwide is recruiting for a German-speaking Customer Service Ambassador in Amsterdam to join an international team for a well-known cosmetics and lifestyle brand. You will assist customers via phone, email and social media with a personal touch.

You will complete a 4-day training in Amsterdam, work 28 hours per week (Mon–Fri 08:45–21:00, some weekend shifts), and have the option to work from home a few days per week with a daily remote allowance.

What will you do?

• Support customers via phone, social media, and email
• Provide helpful, personalized responses rather than relying on scripted interactions
• Listen to customers and understand their individual needs
• Reassure customers and provide accurate information when they have questions
• Suggest suitable alternatives when needed
• Find solutions quickly and efficiently
• Go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations whenever possible
• Create a relaxed, positive, and personal customer experience
• Complete an initial 4-day training in Amsterdam with full-time availability required during the training period

Candidate profile

• You have at least a higher general secondary education or secondary vocational education degree
• You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• You are available for 28 hours per week
• You are flexible to work Monday through Friday between 08:45 and 21:00 and on weekends between 10:00 and 18:30
• You have creative and customer-focused writing skills
• You are service-oriented and enjoy helping customers
• You are a strong team player
• You have excellent communication skills
