Job summary

Batavia Stad Outlet is seeking a capable Team Leader to support the Store Manager in all store operations and to lead the sales team to achieve commercial objectives. Deputising in absence of the Store Manager as needed.

The role requires strong coaching, clear communication, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service and sales results in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience, including leading a team.
• Strong coaching skills.
• Clear communicator who can set expectations and explain requirements.
• Inspires and motivates a store team with energy and pride.
• Experience with people processes and team development.
• Proven track record of delivering and exceeding sales targets.
• Good organizational skills to prioritise tasks without supervision.
• Strong commercial sense and ability to drive performance.
• IT proficiency to use in-store systems.
• Knowledge of Visual Merchandising and in-store presentation.
• English proficiency for roles outside the UK/ROI.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent selling behaviours and model performance to the sales team.
• Support Store Manager to coach and develop the team to hit sales targets and KPIs.
• Oversee sales floor and maintain a great shopping environment.
• Utilise CSAT insights to improve customer experience and store operations.
• Support store operations and Visual Merchandising to deliver retail standards.
• Upskill product knowledge to drive sales and educate the team.
• Prioritise tasks to meet business needs while protecting sales.
• Provide regular feedback to motivate and improve performance.
• Assist Store Manager with people issues to avoid escalation.
• Build capability to manage store in the Store Manager's absence.
