Clarks Outlet in Lelystad is seeking a Team Leader to support the Store Manager in all store operations and to lead the sales team to achieve commercial objectives. You will deputise in the Store Manager’s absence and help drive great customer experiences.

The role requires strong coaching skills, excellent communication, and the ability to motivate a team while maintaining high store standards and product knowledge. It is a hands-on, fast-paced retail position with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Good retail experience including in a management role, leading a team.
• Strong coaching skills.
• Effective communicator who can provide clarity to individuals or teams on what is required of them and why.
• Ability to inspire and motivate a store team through injecting pride, passion and energy into creating a positive working environment.
• Proficient in supporting people-processes and team development.
• Good experience in delivering and exceeding sales and targets. Proactive with good organisation skills to initiate completion of tasks without direction or supervision.
• Good commercial skills.
• IT proficient with the ability to use a range of systems to manage in store activity.
• Good knowledge of and experience in Visual Merchandising.
• Proficiency in English needed for roles outside the UK and RoI.

Responsabilités

• Lead the sales team to achieve personal and store KPIs.
• Support the Store Manager to coach and develop the team to hit sales targets.
• Oversee the sales floor with strong floor control to keep the store welcoming.
• Utilize CSAT insights to improve customer experience and store operations.
• Support store operations and Visual Merchandising to meet standards.
• Upskill the team with product knowledge to drive sales.
• Organise and prioritise tasks to meet business needs while protecting sales and service.
• Provide regular feedback to motivate the team and improve performance.
• Assist Store Manager with people issues to avoid escalation.
• Build capability to manage store in the store manager's absence.

Job Overview: Support the Store Manager to manage all aspects of the store operations and lead the sales team members to ensure commercial objectives are achieved
Deputising Store Manager absence when required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent selling behaviours, being a role model to the sales team to consistently deliver personal key performance indicators
• Support the Store Manager to engage, coach and develop the team to ensure the store delivers its sales targets and related key performance indicators.
• Oversee the sales floor, demonstrating excellent Floor Control skills to ensure the store is great place to shop.
• Consistently review and utilise store CSAT insight to identify actions to improve the customer experience and store operations
• Support in the delivery of store operations and Visual Merchandising principles to deliver best practice retail standards and create the required shopping experience
• Continually upskill in knowledge of our products to be a product expert, role modelling and educating the team to utilise product knowledge to drive sales
• Organise and prioritise required tasks to ensure business needs are met whilst protecting sales and service in store
• Provide regular feedback to the team to motivate and engage to improve performance where required.
• Support the Store Manager with managing people issues as they occur to avoid escalation into more complex issues
