Hotelprofessionals - De L'Europe Amsterdam is seeking a Reservations Agent to join the Reservations team in Amsterdam. You will combine guest service excellence with commercial awareness to maximize room revenue and ensure a seamless booking experience.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, processing reservations, and upselling while coordinating with various hotel departments to deliver an outstanding guest journey.

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations or a similar guest-facing role in luxury hospitality.
• Strong guest service mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Commercially aware with upselling and cross-selling ability.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; Dutch preferred.

In this role, you will combine exceptional guest service, commercial awareness, and attention to detail to ensure a seamless reservation experience while maximizing room revenue.

What You'll Do

• Handle reservation inquiries via phone, email, and digital channels with professionalism and accuracy
• Process individual and group reservations, amendments, cancellations, and special requests
• Provide personalized information about our rooms, restaurants, facilities, experiences, and promotions
• Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities while converting enquiries into confirmed bookings
• Maintain accurate reservation details in the PMS and ensure guest preferences are communicated to the relevant departments
• Collaborate closely with Reservations, Revenue, Sales, Guest Services, Food & Beverage, Events, and Front Office teams to create a seamless guest journey

Who You Are

• Experience in reservations or a similar guest-facing role within a luxury or high-end hospitality environment
• Strong guest service mindset with excellent communication skills
• Commercially aware with a natural ability to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy
• Able to manage multiple priorities and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is preferred
• Proactive, flexible, and a strong team player with the ability to anticipate and respond to guest needs

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of luxury hospitality and current guest trends
• Experience with Opera or another PMS
• Understanding of room types, pricing structures, packages, and promotions
• Experience working with The Leading Hotels of the World standards
