Job summary

De L'Europe Amsterdam is seeking a Guest Service Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage check-in/check-out, and share knowledge about our amenities and Amsterdam.

You will coordinate reservations and room assignments while handling guest questions with professionalism, collaborating with all departments to deliver Original Amsterdam Luxury.

Flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and hospitality experience are preferred to join our luxury team.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest service, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong communication with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out.
• Provide personalised recommendations and information about Amsterdam.

What you'll do

As a Guest Service Agent, you are the first and last face our guests see and that is what makes your role truly special. You welcome guests with a genuine smile and ensure a seamless check-in and check-out experience that sets the tone for their entire stay. You know the hotel and Amsterdam inside out, and you love sharing that knowledge by offering personalised advice on our amenities and the city's finest spots. You manage reservations and room assignments with efficiency and precision, and whenever a guest has a question or complaint, you handle it with the professionalism and empathy that define De L'Europe. You work closely with all other departments to ensure every guest experiences the Original Amsterdam Luxury we promise; every day, in every interaction.

Who you are

• An enthusiastic professional with experience in guest service, preferably in the hotel industry
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused attitude
• Proficient in multitasking, even in busy situations
• Knowledge of reservation systems and Opera PMS is a plus
• Thrive in a dynamic environment and have an eye for detail
• Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

• Passion for luxury hospitality and the desire to contribute to unforgettable experiences
• Experience with different cultures and languages
• Local knowledge of Amsterdam for personalized guest recommendations.
