Job summary

De L'Europe Amsterdam is seeking a Reservations Agent to join our Reservations team in the heart of Amsterdam. You will combine exceptional guest service, commercial awareness, and attention to detail to ensure seamless reservations while maximizing room revenue.

You will handle inquiries across channels, process bookings, upsell, and collaborate with Revenue, Sales, and Front Office to create a flawless guest journey.

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations or guest-facing role in luxury hospitality.
• Excellent communication in English; Dutch preferred.
• Ability to Upsell and cross-sell to maximise bookings.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle reservation inquiries via phone, email, and digital channels with professionalism and accuracy.
• Process individual and group reservations, amendments, cancellations, and special requests.
• Provide information about our rooms, restaurants, facilities, experiences, and promotions.
• Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities while converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Maintain accurate reservation details in the PMS and communicate guest preferences to relevant departments.
• Collaborate with Reservations, Revenue, Sales, Guest Services, Food & Beverage, Events, and Front Office to create a seamless guest journey.

What You'll Do

• Handle reservation inquiries via phone, email, and digital channels with professionalism and accuracy
• Process individual and group reservations, amendments, cancellations, and special requests
• Provide personalized information about our rooms, restaurants, facilities, experiences, and promotions
• Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities while converting enquiries into confirmed bookings
• Maintain accurate reservation details in the PMS and ensure guest preferences are communicated to the relevant departments
• Collaborate closely with Reservations, Revenue, Sales, Guest Services, Food & Beverage, Events, and Front Office teams to create a seamless guest journey.

Who You Are

• Experience in reservations or a similar guest-facing role within a luxury or high-end hospitality environment
• Strong guest service mindset with excellent communication skills
• Commercially aware with a natural ability to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy
• Able to manage multiple priorities and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is preferred
• Proactive, flexible, and a strong team player with the ability to anticipate and respond to guest needs.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of luxury hospitality and current guest trends
• Experience with Opera or another PMS
• Understanding of room types, pricing structures, packages, and promotions
• Experience working with The Leading Hotels of the World standards.
