Job summary

Thales is seeking a Senior Application Security Sales Engineer for the Benelux region, primarily remote in the Netherlands. You will support an award-winning Enterprise Field Sales Team, delivering demonstrations, POVs, and workshops to customers and partners.

You will collaborate with regional sales managers and stay current on competitive advantages to drive opportunities in a dynamic market. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in security/pre-sales with strong communication skills, vendor

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in network security, development, pre-sales engineering, or real world use of web application solutions.
5+ years in sales engineering in start-up or vendor environments.
Excellent listening, presentation, written, and oral communication skills.
Knowledge of APIs, REST, SOAP; TCP/IP, HTTP, load balancers, proxies and firewalls.
Experience with public cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

Responsibilities

Participate in sales conference calls and prospect visits, provide product demonstrations in person and remotely, and work with prospects at both a technical and business level to show how Thales’ Application Security solutions deliver value to them.
Demonstrate customer-centric selling and a track record of using it to drive revenue.
Ensure successful on-site product evaluations when necessary.
Manage the Regional Strategic Partner Engineering community and help address technical needs.
Stay up-to-date on competitive advantages vs Thales’ main competitors and articulate them in favor of opportunities.
Create content and execute activities to drive demand, such as webinars, articles, posts, etc.
