Job summary

GitLab is seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Representative to drive outbound prospecting and build a robust pipeline across targeted accounts. This 100% remote role covers the UK, Ireland, Germany, and the Netherlands, collaborating with Field and Digital Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to generate qualified meetings and SAOs.

Qualifications

• Outbound sales development experience in tech is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to manage high volume outreach and follow through.

Responsibilities

• Execute outbound prospecting to generate qualified meetings.
• Generate New Logo and Growth opportunities.
• Conduct discovery calls to qualify opportunities and create SAOs.
• Meet monthly/quarterly SAO targets from BDR activity.
• Prioritize target accounts and develop tailored outreach strategies.
• Execute multi-touch outreach (call, email, social) to prospects.
• Track and report activities and pipeline in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success to build campaigns.
