Job summary

GitLab is seeking a German-speaking Business Development Representative to join our fully remote Sales team. You will lead outbound prospecting, qualify opportunities, and generate SAOs in collaboration with Marketing and Customer Success.

Based remotely in the UK, Ireland, Germany, or the Netherlands, you will coordinate with Field and Digital Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to drive pipeline and engage multiple buyer personas with GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform.

Qualifications

Fluent in German and able to communicate clearly in English.
Strong phone presence and writing skills for multi-channel outreach.
Able to manage a high volume of outreach and prioritize tasks.
Proven initiative and ability to drive projects independently.
Knowledge of business processes, roles, and org structure.
Experience with Salesforce, Sales Navigator, and Outreach or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Execute outbound prospecting initiatives to generate qualified meetings and pipeline.
Generate new logo opportunities and growth opportunities on existing accounts.
Conduct high-level discovery conversations to understand needs and qualify opportunities.
Meet or exceed SAO targets by converting qualified prospects into opportunities.
Research target accounts and develop tailored outreach strategies.
Execute multi-touch outreach cadence via call, email, social media.
