Job summary

Fluence Energy, LLC in Amsterdam is seeking a Service Manager to lead regional service operations under LTSA agreements for Battery Energy Storage Systems across multiple countries. You will guide a team of Service O&M Supervisors, manage subcontractors, and ensure safe, compliant, and high-performing assets while driving regional performance against KPIs.

This role interfaces with customers, drives operational readiness, and champions continuous improvement across the service portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant experience in service operations or O&M.
• Proven experience leading service, operations, or O&M teams in a regional or multi-site environment.
• Experience managing LTSA, O&M contracts, or long-term service agreements for complex assets.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding including cost control and warranty management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including customer-facing leadership.
• Fluency in English.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regionally as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Service O&M Supervisors and ensure safe, high-quality service execution across sites.
• Own the execution of LTSA contracts, ensuring scope, performance, and commercial alignment.
• Act as the primary customer interface for service operations and manage relationships and escalations.
• Drive regional service performance against KPIs including system availability and safety metrics.
• Plan regional operations by allocating resources and coordinating activities for efficiency.
• Manage warranty obligations including claims, extensions, and resolution of issues.
• Lead subcontractor selection and onboarding; support RFQs and negotiations.
• Oversee subcontractor performance across the region, ensuring compliance with contracts and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards across countries of operation.
• Take commercial ownership of service delivery including quotes, billing, and upsell opportunities.
• Address complex contractual issues using LTSA and O&M clauses.
• Collaborate with Delivery, Sales, OEMs, and customers for smooth handovers.
