Job summary

Fluence Energy, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer (m/f/d) for hybrid work in Amsterdam with global scope. You will coordinate engineering activities for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and power infrastructure projects across the EMEA region, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities include leading internal and external design reviews, coordinating EPC activities, and supporting procurement with technical specs. Travel within EMEA is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in engineering, project engineering or project execution in power, renewables, battery storage, or utilities.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, contractors, suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of Polish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage external engineering firms, subcontractors, and internal disciplines to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure deliverables comply with contractual requirements, project specs, and regional design considerations.
• Lead design review meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support procurement by developing technical specifications and evaluating proposals from suppliers.
• Travel within the EMEA region to support project execution and stakeholder engagement.
