Job summary

Fluence Energy B.V. is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate and manage engineering activities for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and related power projects across the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering, project engineering, or project execution within power/renewable energy sectors.
• Experience designing or supporting utility-scale power systems, PV plants, or battery storage projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage engineering activities for BESS and power projects across EMEA.
• Ensure deliverables meet contractual requirements, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Lead design review meetings and verify compliance with internal standards and regulations.
• Develop technical specifications, review vendor documentation, and assess supplier proposals.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and provide technical leadership through execution.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes and cross-functional collaboration.
• Travel across the EMEA region to support project execution and stakeholder engagement.
