Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Service Manager to lead regional service operations under LTSA, ensuring safe, compliant, high-performing BESS assets across multiple countries. You will manage Service O&M Supervisors, oversight of warranty obligations, and subcontractor performance while interfacing with customers to drive KPIs and continuous improvement.

The role requires leading regional teams, coordinating resource planning, and ensuring contractual alignment with safety standards and commercial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years regional service experience.
• Master's degree with 5+ years service/O&M experience.
• Proven experience leading regional or multi-site service teams.
• Experience managing LTSAs or long-term service contracts.
• Strong commercial/financial understanding and warranty management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; English fluency.
• Willingness to travel regionally; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Service O&M Supervisors across sites.
• Own the execution of LTSA contracts and regional performance.
• Act as primary customer interface; manage relationships and escalations.
• Drive KPIs: availability, safety, and AI-enabled service tools.
• Plan regional operations; allocate resources and balance workloads.
• Manage warranty obligations with claims and extensions.
• Lead subcontractor selection, onboarding, and contract negotiations.
• Oversee subcontractor performance across countries; ensure safety and SLAs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across countries of operation.
• Take commercial ownership of service delivery including quotes and billing.
• Close contractual ambiguities; apply LTSA/O&M clauses.
• Collaborate with Delivery, Sales, OEMs, and customers for handovers.
• Support regional service strategy, cost control, and continuous improvement.
• Escalation and incident management via internal tools.
