Job summary

Vinted, a leading European second-hand marketplace, is looking for a data analytics/decision science professional to join its Amsterdam team. You will work on the Messaging and Negotiations experience and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the buyer–seller journey.

You will analyze data, run experiments, and build dashboards to drive business impact across Marketplace, post-purchase, and trust initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Decision Science or Data Analytics role.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of statistical methods (A/B testing, regression).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Identify strategic opportunities with data-driven recommendations.
• Test and analyze opportunities to validate value and impact.
• Define and monitor team KPIs and root causes.
• Enable self-service dashboards for business insights.
• Promote data-driven decision-making and best practices.
• Ensure initiatives are reviewed for impact with stakeholders.
