Job summary

Vinted Group in Amsterdam is seeking a Lead Data Scientist for Revenue - Ads to lead optimization and modeling in our Ads ecosystem. You will own ranking, targeting, pacing, and experimentation frameworks to maximize net revenue and user experience.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, product managers and analytics teams, design concrete objectives, and guide production implementations while communicating complex ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong applied machine learning and statistical skills.
• Experience with Ad Tech systems and optimization problems.
• Strong product and business judgment.
• Comfort working on production systems with engineers.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, evolving domains.

Responsibilities

• Own optimization logic for Ads systems.
• Lead model and algorithm development for Ads delivery.
• Lead experimentation and performance improvement frameworks.
• Guide objective function and constraint design for optimization.
• Be responsible for Ads performance diagnostics and analysis.
• Contribute to production implementation in Ads with engineers.
