Job summary

Cover Genius in Amsterdam is seeking a Client Solutions / Presales Engineer to articulate and showcase the value of our product offerings from pre-sales, to guiding partners through the integration process and supporting post-implementation.

You will have a proven track record of technical problem-solving and client engagement, along with a deep understanding of software development and system architecture.

Qualifications

• 6+ years programming experience in Python, JavaScript, Java, or PHP.
• 6+ years of experience with web technologies such as HTTP, HTML, JSON.
• 6+ years of customer-facing experience in sales, sales engineering, consulting or related function.
• Deep understanding of RESTful JSON APIs & third party integrations is required.
• Proficiency with AI and LLM tooling, including practical experience building or deploying agentic workflows.
• Strong strategic, analytical and tactical skills; must be able to create plans and then execute.
• Experience in managing technically complex products in a B2B technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales & Solution Design: work with Partnership team to assist with new partnerships, prepare technical sales material, develop POCs and support demonstrations.
• Integration & Support: understand Cover Genius’ product technology, manage integrations with stakeholders, and design custom integration blueprints using REST APIs.
• Growth & Process Improvement: use SQL, Google BigQuery, and Google Data Studio to identify growth opportunities and automate activities to optimize client engagements.
