Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Amsterdam is seeking a Networking Systems Engineer to join our Presales team and support customers in designing and adopting modern networking solutions. You will act as the technical expert throughout the sales cycle, translating requirements into innovative architectures.

As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with Account Managers, partners and customers, delivering demos and proofs-of-concept while shaping solutions that meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a presales, systems engineering or solution architect in enterprise networking.
• Ability to design and communicate complex networking solutions.
• Strong presentation and demo skills with customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead during the pre-sales process for networking opportunities.
• Engage with customers to understand business challenges and technical requirements.
• Design and present end-to-end networking solutions aligned to customer needs.
• Provide technical expertise in Routing & Switching, Datacenter Networking, and enterprise networking solutions.
• Deliver customer presentations, workshops, technical demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts.
• Demonstrate network management platforms and associated technologies.
• Work closely with Account Managers and partners to support complex sales opportunities.
• Support customers throughout the solution design and evaluation process.
• Translate technical requirements into customer-focused business outcomes.
• Stay current on industry trends, competitive technologies, and networking innovations.
