Job summary

Cozy Heaven, a premium bedding brand part of Everest, seeks a Managing Director to own P&L, grow the business and drive a premium customer experience. You will lead pricing, retention, performance marketing and new channels across DACH, while aligning with Everest’s AI platform to accelerate growth.

This co-owner level role requires strong financial discipline, senior leadership, and the ability to turn plans into a scalable, cash-efficient brand. Amsterdam base with Germany exposure.

• Real responsibility for the result in an inventory-led business.
• Improved how a consumer brand was seen and what its customers experienced.
• Used AI and automation to improve real workflows and real decisions, not to run experiments.
• Built focus and an execution rhythm in an imperfect operating environment, with incomplete data and competing priorities.
• Made the hard calls on people and managed a high-output team.
• Grew the business and the margin together, and you can explain how you did that.
• Cash, stock, purchasing, margin and performance marketing, with the trade-offs between them held in one head.
• Professional fluency in both German and English. The market is German and the group works in English.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L and profitable growth, including the operating plan, financial performance, pricing, retention, performance marketing, partnerships and new channels across DACH.
• Responsible for the brand and customer experience, strengthening Cozy Heaven’s premium positioning while improving the full journey from acquisition and delivery to repeat purchase and advocacy.
• Own cash, inventory and operations, including purchasing, working capital, suppliers, quality, freight and fulfilment, making the right trade-offs between growth, availability and capital efficiency.
• Lead the team and operating rhythm, across internal employees, agencies and external specialists, while driving the adoption of technology, automation and AI together with Everest.
• Help build the Cozy Heaven playbook, turning what works here into systems and lessons that can improve future Everest acquisitions.
