Job summary

The Pyrmont Curaçao Beach Resort is seeking a Pool Mechanic to maintain swimming pools, water features, and related equipment, ensuring safe, clean, and operational facilities for guests and staff.

Qualifications include a technical certification in pool maintenance preferred, 2–3 years of pool maintenance experience in hospitality, knowledge of filtration systems, pumps, water chemistry, and safe handling of pool chemicals; flexibility to work weekends/holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Technical certification in pool maintenance or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of pool maintenance experience in hospitality.
• Knowledge of pool filtration systems, pumps, and water chemistry.
• Ability to handle pool chemicals safely and follow safety standards.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pool filtration systems, pumps, and motors.
• Monitor and maintain proper chemical levels.
• Perform daily pool inspections and water quality testing.
• Clean pools, filters, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair pool mechanical systems.
• Maintain logs for chemical levels and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Respond to pool-related guest requests and maintenance issues.
• Coordinate repairs and replacement of pool equipment.
• Support preventative maintenance programs across the property.
• Assist other engineering and maintenance team members as needed.
• Ensure work is completed according to company quality and safety standards.
