Job summary

The Pyrmont Curaçao Beach Resort is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead Room Attendants and Public Area teams, ensuring rooms and spaces meet luxury standards. You will supervise daily operations, manage inventories, and coordinate with Engineering and Front Office to deliver flawless guest experiences.

Ideal candidates hold an MBO Level 4 diploma or equivalent, have 3+ years in hotel housekeeping with supervisory exposure, and demonstrate strong English communication, safety awareness,

Qualifications

• MBO Level 4 diploma or equivalent in hospitality-related field.
• Minimum of three years housekeeping experience with supervisory exposure.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, room inspections, and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management systems and inventory controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication skills in English; Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamentu are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Room Attendants and Public Area staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Inspect guest rooms, suites, and public areas to meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Update and communicate room status to the Office Coordinator/Manager in a timely manner.
• Act as a liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office for seamless coordination of services.
• Document, investigate, and resolve room discrepancies with the Office Coordinator/Manager.
• Train, coach, and support team members; assist with scheduling, evaluations, and disciplinary actions as required.
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and use of cleaning chemicals and supplies in line with safety standards.
