Job summary

The Pyrmont Curaao Beach Resort is seeking a Safety & Security Supervisor to lead daily security operations, protecting guests, associates, and assets across a 24-hour resort environment.

You will supervise the Loss Prevention team, manage incident reporting, and ensure compliance with Marriott standards and local regulations while maintaining confidentiality and professional service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or business education is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years security or loss prevention experience; hotel/resort background a plus.
• Knowledge of surveillance, access control, and incident reporting.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Strong report writing and investigative skills.
• Excellent communication in English and Papiamentu; Dutch/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols to ensure guest, associate, and asset safety.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, access control, and life safety systems; respond to alerts.
• Respond to emergencies and assist guests and associates as required.
• Secure guest rooms and restricted areas with controlled access.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions and hazards per procedures.
• Oversee employee entrance access and enforce key control procedures.
• Verify identification for outsourced personnel and visitors.
• Ensure proper bag checks and supervise compliance with procedures.
• Log vehicle access and verify accuracy of vehicle logs.
• Prepare incident and accident reports per Marriott and legal requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of security documentation.
• Provide coaching and training to Loss Prevention staff.
