Job summary

Trinamics is seeking an experienced Program Management Officer to strengthen the ENO-Hub initiative. You will support cross-sector programs across engineering, operations and business functions, creating transparency, driving governance and ensuring successful execution of objectives and milestones.

The role requires a bachelor or master in a relevant field, certifications (Prince2/IPMA/PMBoK/MoP) and Lean Six Sigma or Agile knowledge, with at least 5 years hands-on PMO experience in a high-tech

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Business Engineering or related field.
• Certified in Prince2, IPMA-D, IPMA PMO, PM-BoK, MoP or similar.
• Certified in Lean Six Sigma green/black belt or Agile methodology preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on PMO experience for complex programs and projects in a high-tech environment.
• Expert knowledge in program/project management, P3M, resource management, and process management in a high-tech environment.

The Business Performance Improvement (BPI) sector drives cross-company improvement initiatives that support the organization's strategic ambitions and operational excellence. Within BPI, the Engineering & Operations Hub (ENO-Hub) initiative focuses on improving the way engineering and operational processes, data, and systems work together across organizational boundaries. The initiative aims to enable scalable and efficient end-to-end ways of working, improve data quality, simplify change processes, and support future business transformations.

To strengthen the ENO-Hub initiative team, we are looking for an experienced Program Management Officer (PMO). In this assignment, you will support the delivery of a complex, cross-sector program involving a broad stakeholder landscape across engineering, operations, and business functions. You will help create transparency, drive effective governance, facilitate decision-making, and ensure successful execution of program and project objectives and milestones.

Role and responsibilities

The BPI Program Management Officer (PMO) is responsible for supporting cross-company multidisciplinary project & program execution by:

• Pro-actively supporting the BPI Program Management team to optimize business value
• Driving progress and project milestones via the BPI Key-Decision (KD) Process
• Providing support in structuring new strategic initiatives into program roadmaps
• Setting up, arranging and facilitating meetings, workshops and team sessions
• Taking the lead in analyzing and signaling on resource management, financial management, tracking & reporting, risk & issue management, scheduling & scoping, etc.
• Creating what is needed, not necessarily what is being asked, by challenging the status quo
• Actively looking for improvement opportunities to add value to the business and the BPI PMO way of working
• Driving effective decision making on all levels (challenging the triple constraint: scope, cost, time), including timely and accurate reporting & metrics
• Driving effective communication and/or escalations on issues & risks and the required mitigation actions to stakeholders
• Providing input and advice during the quarterly portfolio re-balancing process
• Structuring and securing relevant project management documents and decisions, following up on actions and decisions
• Contributing to the competence build-up of the PMO community
• Participating in PMO initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of program management processes

Education and experience

• Bachelor or Master degree, preferably Business Engineering or (Technical) Business Administration, Business Management, or another relevant field
• Certified in Prince2, IPMA-D, IPMA PMO, PM-BoK, MoP or similar
• Certified in Lean Six Sigma green/black belt or Agile methodology preferred
• Minimum of 5 years working experience as a hands-on PMO officer for complex programs and projects, or as a Project Manager in a dynamic and innovative (high-tech) organization
• Expert knowledge in the area of program/project management, P3M, resource management, and process management in a high-tech environment
