Job summary

Huxley is seeking a Project Manager to drive governance and manage initiatives across the department, collaborating with business units and centralized functions to ensure strategic delivery. You will document objectives, KPIs, roadmaps, and deliverables, establishing governance for decisions and approvals.

You will mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and align roadmaps with business priorities, leveraging data insights to enable measurable outcomes and shared goals.

• Apply structured methodology to and lead project/change management activities
• Own the successful delivery of the end-to-end project lifecycle
• With supervision, lead low/medium complexity projects with global impact (cross-functional) driving them through execution, analysis, recommendation and implementation
• Apply change management processes and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative
• Engage and influence stakeholders inside and outside the organization: work with business unit partners and corporate support teams to drive enterprise strategy execution
• Contribute to project scoping and planning by documenting project goals, KPIs, roadmap and deliverables
• Track and report progress; create planning documents with involved departments
• Ensure project closing and handover to Business as usual

Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for driving governance and project management initiatives across the department. This role partners closely with teams within the department, as well as business units and centralized functions, to support collaboration and ensure the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

The Project Manager helps teams define, scope, and plan projects by documenting objectives, KPIs, roadmaps, and key deliverables. They ensure projects are managed in a consistent and structured manner while building stakeholder engagement and establishing governance where decision-making and approvals are required. In certain cases, the role also involves managing external vendors and coordinating with external stakeholders.

Additionally, the Project Manager is responsible for identifying and mitigating project risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks to ensure progress against key milestones. Above all, they ensure departmental roadmaps and plans remain aligned with agreed business priorities, strategic objectives, and interdependencies. By leveraging data-driven insights and business needs, the Project Manager enables teams to deliver measurable outcomes and achieve shared goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage and influence stakeholders inside and if required outside of the organization: work collaboratively with business unit partners and corporate support teams to drive enterprise strategy execution and partner on segment or functional strategy projects
• Contribute to the Project scoping and Planning by helping to document the project goal, KPIs, roadmap and main deliverables
• Track and report progress; Create clear planning documents together with involved departments
• Ensure a project closing and correct handover to Business as usual
• Ability to work and productively interact with different stakeholders up to Director level.

Requirements of special knowledge/skills

• Familiarity with project/change management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
• A good understanding of how people go through the change curve and the change process
• Good Problem solving and root cause identification skills
• Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts is an advantage
• With supervision, ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to drive decision making
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships (both within a team and with wider stakeholders)
• Ability to work effectively and influence up to Senior Managers
• Effectively communicate in 1:1 and small groups; Strong influencer in 1:1
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations and under pressure
• Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
• Knowledge of similar industries and/or business projects is an advantage.
• PMP or Agile Project Management or equivalent certification is preferred.
