Purpose of the Role

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for governing and managing strategic initiatives within the department, ensuring projects are delivered consistently, aligned with business priorities, and support organizational objectives.

The role partners closely with business units, centralized functions, and leadership teams to drive cross-functional programs, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and facilitate decision-making.

The position combines project management, change management, stakeholder engagement, governance, and operational program support to ensure successful execution and adoption of business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Management
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of low to medium complexity, cross-functional projects with global impact.
  • Define project scope, objectives, KPIs, roadmaps, and deliverables.
  • Apply structured project and change management methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and governance frameworks.
  • Track progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and milestones.
  • Ensure successful project closure and transition to business-as-usual operations.
  • Support multiple projects or project portfolios simultaneously.
Strategic Planning & Governance
  • Align projects with agreed business priorities, strategies, and objectives.
  • Establish governance processes and reporting mechanisms.
  • Facilitate decision‑making and organizational readiness.
  • Identify project risks and dependencies and drive mitigation plans.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data to support decision‑making.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build strong relationships across departments and functions.
  • Engage, influence, and manage stakeholders up to Director level.
  • Coordinate with leadership teams to secure decisions, buy‑in, and project support.
  • Manage external vendors and stakeholders when required.
  • Communicate project recommendations, status updates, and insights effectively.
Change Management
  • Drive adoption strategies for organizational changes resulting from projects.
  • Apply change management tools and processes throughout project lifecycles.
  • Support large-scale transformation and organizational change initiatives.
PMO & Go-to-Market (GTM) Responsibilities
  • Maintaining Confluence and Jira spaces as the central source of truth.
  • Tracking: Milestones, Actions, Risks, Dependencies, Decisions (RAID management)
  • Preparing agendas and materials for governance forums.
  • Coordinating action owners and following up on overdue items.
  • Maintaining integrated program plans and GTM readiness checklists.
  • Reconciling status updates across workstreams.
  • Identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and dependencies.
  • Facilitating planning workshops and documenting outcomes.
  • Preparing executive status reports and escalation materials.
  • Supporting stakeholder communications and program updates.
Leadership Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a small team of Project Managers.
  • Coach team members in line with company leadership principles.
  • Promote consistent project management practices across the department.
