Applied Medical is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join the European Payroll team in Amersfoort. You will ensure accurate monthly payroll for multiple entities, coordinating with external providers and the HR Administration team, while preparing journal entries and supporting process improvements.

The role requires end-to-end payroll experience, strong Excel skills, English fluency, and familiarity with SAP or similar HR systems.

• Proven experience and education (PDL) in processing payrolls end-to-end.
• Accounting background welcome with interest in payroll.
• Excellent English, both written and spoken.
• Solid knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with SAP (or another HR module) preferred.

Are you a detail-oriented Payroll professional who enjoys working in an international environment? Do you thrive in a role where accuracy, ownership, and collaboration come together?

We are looking for a motivated Payroll Administrator to strengthen our Payroll team at our European headquarters in Amersfoort.

In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and accurate payroll for several of our European entities. We process payroll with an external provider. From processing payroll to preparing journal entries and supporting continuous process improvements, your work will directly contribute to our financial excellence.

At Applied Medical, this position has the title Payroll Specialist and reports to the Team Leader Payroll, while collaborating with our team across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure a timely and accurate monthly payroll for all team members with our local payroll partners
• Answer payroll related questions from our team members
• Work closely with the HR Administration team for changes that affect payroll
• Performvarious administrative duties with respect to (social) insurance and legislative requirements
• Deliver documents and reports for audit requests

What you bring

• Proven experience and education (PDL) in processing payrolls end-to-end is preferred. We also welcome candidates with accounting background and an interest in payroll
• Able to work according to processes and procedures
• Excellent English, both written and spoken
• Solid knowledge of Excel
• A positive, proactive mindset and strong attention to detail
• Experience with and knowledge of SAP (or another HR module) is preferred
