Job summary

SmartField Tech is seeking an experienced Deskside Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The role involves resolving desktop, laptop, hardware and software issues, configuring equipment, and assisting users with logins and access problems.

You will manage incidents via ITSM/ticketing tools, meet SLA requirements, and escalate complex issues to relevant teams. Strong communication and hands-on hardware/software skills are essential, with English proficiency

Qualifications

• Experience in Deskside, EUC or Desktop Support.
• Strong Windows troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on hardware and software support experience.
• Basic networking knowledge and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site deskside and end-user IT support in Amsterdam.
• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure and replace IT equipment and peripherals.
• Assist users with login, access and basic network problems.
• Manage incidents and service requests through ticketing systems and meet SLA requirements.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate support teams.
