Job summary

ITProposal is seeking an IT Support Technician (Onsite) to provide hands-on desktop and laptop support for enterprise clients in Amsterdam. This On-Call role offers flexible, project-based work and the chance to supplement income with diverse environments.

You will install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking, while delivering excellent customer service onsite. Travel reimbursement is available where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1+ year IT Support, Help Desk, or Desktop Support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop and laptop support for end users.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Configure printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
• Set up workstations for new employees.
• Handle basic network connectivity troubleshooting.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills

• 1+ year of IT Support, Help Desk, or Desktop Support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, LAN).
• Experience troubleshooting PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently onsite.
• English communication skills (written and spoken).

Preferred

• CompTIA A+, Google IT Support, Microsoft, or similar certification.
• Experience working in corporate IT environments.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and basic user administration.
• English andDutch
