Job summary

C.H. Robinson is seeking a Global Forwarding Agent to join our Global Forwarding division.

You will manage and operate the shipment life-cycle for consolidations in the Gateway department, coordinating with international teams and customers on-site five days a week. The role requires English and Dutch fluency, 3 years of Global Forwarding and air freight experience, and a strong focus on exceptional service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Global Forwarding & air freight experience.
• Fluency in English and Dutch (written and verbal).
• Experience with air imports and exports.
• Excellent customer service skills and follow-up with customers and the network.
• Critical thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving to adapt to changing tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven office environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Operational Excellence across international shipping from PO issuance to delivery of cargo.
• Coordinate shipment tasks to meet customer SOPs: bookings, pre-alerts, filings, delivery, invoicing.
• Collaborate with international team members and third-party agents for efficiency and problem resolution.
• Build relationships with customers and ensure timely issue resolution and follow-up.
• Provide reporting and documentation support to internal and external customers.
• Participate in customer business reviews.
• Contribute to seamless forwarding operations across regions.
