Job summary

C.H. Robinson in the Netherlands is seeking a Global Forwarding Agent to manage and operate the shipment lifecycle for our customers' global freight. You will be the primary contact, detail-oriented, service-savvy, and a problem-solver in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll work hands-on with customers from the start of the shipment process, collaborating with international teams and third-party agents while building strong relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 1 year Global Forwarding experience is required (minimum).

Responsibilities

• Maintain Operational Excellence:Understand the processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping from time of purchase order issuance through the delivery of the cargo.Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and to create solutions in response to challenges both internally and externally.Coordinate tasks on the shipments to meet all customer SOP requirements: booking approvals, processing pre-alerts, governmental filings, executing delivery, ensuring proper invoicing, etc.
• Facilitate Relationships:Collaborate with our international team members and third-party agents to ensure efficiency, excellent customer service and creative problem resolution.Build great relationships with customers, responding timely and following up on issue resolutionProvide reporting and documentation support to internal and external customers.Participate in customer business reviews.Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and to create solutions in response to challenges both internally and externally.

Required Qualifications

• High school degree or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of Global Forwarding experience

Compensation Range

€33,200.00 - €52,700.00

The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across the entirety of the country this requisition is posted in. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by work location, which takes into account geographic cost of labor, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
