Job summary

C.H. Robinson Europe BV is seeking a Global Forwarding Agent to join our Global Forwarding division in the Gateway department.

You will manage the shipment life-cycle for assigned consolidations, serving as a key contact and expert to ensure all requests and requirements are met accurately and timely. This role involves preparing, distributing, and maintaining documents for various regions while overseeing daily shipment tasks, including communication, reporting, and email management.

Qualifications

• Three years of Global Forwarding and air freight experience.
• Fluency in English and Dutch (written and verbal).
• Experience with air imports and exports.
• Excellent customer service and follow-up.
• Critical thinking, flexibility and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven office environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate the shipment life-cycle for assigned consolidations.
• Prepare, distribute and maintain documents for multiple regions.
• Execute and oversee daily shipment tasks including communication, reporting and email management.
• Collaborate with international teams and third-party agents to ensure efficiency and service quality.
• Provide reporting and documentation support to customers and participate in customer business reviews.
