Job summary

DEME Group in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Project Document Controller to own document control within offshore project teams. You will manage project records in eDMS (Aconex/SharePoint) and ensure standards are followed.

You will collaborate with the Project Management Team, subcontractors and suppliers, maintain procedures, identify document quality issues, and provide clear status reports. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, fluency in English, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in Document Control, preferably within a project-driven, engineering, construction or offshore environment.
• Familiar with electronic document management systems; Aconex and/or SharePoint is a strong asset.
• Proactive, structured and able to work independently.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Document Control activities within the project.
• Manage and maintain project documentation within the eDMS (Aconex/SharePoint).
• Act as a key point of contact for Document Control within the project team.
• Work with the Project Management Team, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure procedures are understood and followed.
• Maintain and adjust Document Control procedures throughout project lifecycle.
• Review documentation and ensure Document Control requirements and company standards are met.
• Identify issues in documentation quality and take follow-up actions.
• Control, manage and transmit project documents between parties.
• Monitor outstanding actions, deadlines and documentation deliverables; provide status reports to the Project Management Team.
• Guide and support project team members in using the eDMS and Document Control processes.
