Job summary

DEME is seeking an experienced Project Document Controller to join our offshore project team in the Netherlands. You will own document control within the project, manage the eDMS (Aconex or SharePoint) and work closely with the Project Management Team, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure procedures and standards are followed.

You will review documentation, maintain control across the lifecycle, and report status to the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; relevant experience accepted.
• Familiar with electronic document management systems.
• Experience with Aconex and/or SharePoint is a strong asset.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Document Control activities within the project.
• Manage and maintain project documentation in the eDMS (Aconex/SharePoint).
• Act as key contact for Document Control within the project team.
• Collaborate with Project Management Team, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain and adjust Document Control procedures across project lifecycle.
• Review documentation for compliance with requirements and standards.
• Identify issues in documentation quality and take follow-up actions.
• Control, manage and transmit documents among parties; monitor deadlines.
• Provide clear status reports to the Project Management Team.
• Guide project team members in using the eDMS and processes.
