Job summary

Rippling, a San Francisco-based HR tech leader, is seeking an HR Advisor for the Netherlands to support our Employer of Record service. You will guide clients through onboarding to offboarding, addressing employee relations, claims and compliance challenges.

You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to refine workflows for hiring, onboarding, transitions, and benefits, ensuring a seamless, tech-driven HR solution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Netherlands HR advisory or consulting services, or an internal HR role in a fast-paced organization. Experience in other EU countries is considered a plus.
• Expertise in managing employee claims related to unemployment benefits, disability/leave benefits, workers’ compensation, and grievances.
• Demonstrated proficiency as a super-user of HRIS platforms.
• Capable of answering questions regarding pay statements and payroll basics, including tax withholdings and earnings breakdowns, and conducting simple pay-related calculations.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
• Professional working proficiency in Dutch and English. Any other EU language will be considered a plus.
• Experience with benefits and pension administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft and implement compliance-driven policies and detailed SOPs for leave management, performance management, investigations, claims, terminations, unemployment benefits, workers’ compensation, and grievance investigations.
• Handle complex employee relations issues, including leave management, terminations, and other regulatory risks.
• Configure and test workflows for hiring, onboarding, transitions, terminations, and statutory benefits with product, engineering, and compliance teams.
• Respond to client and employee inquiries, develop HR resources (policies, help center articles), and ensure accurate HR services.
• Train and coach internal HR Advisors on country-specific requirements to ensure continuity and compliance.
• Design scalable, efficient processes that enhance HR service delivery.
• Ensure product data compliance with employment laws and internal HR policies; support audits and risk mitigation.
• Serve as Power of Attorney for the supported legal entities, signing employee documentation and ensuring local compliance.
